Zune, Not An Ipod Killer (yet)

When released, Zune was "the new big thing" but as time passed by it became clear that Microsoft's player was not that cool after all. It certainly can't compare with the iPod that sold more than 10 million units in the first quarter.

You know things aren't going well when sales start for your product, and this is just what happened with the Zune. You can now buy one for just 199.99$ at Staples (the original price was 249.99$). And this is just an example, you'll find out that Zune is on sale in other places as well.

Maybe the Zune was not even meant to be an "iPod killer" but it seems that everyone thinks so and sales figures test Zune's slogan "Welcome to the Social", as there aren't enough users yet to form a solid community.
