If you are interested in selling your car, you might have thought about using Free Auto Classifieds to do so. This can help save you the hassle and cash of advertising through more costly means, but it can be tricky to get noticed when there are so many vehicles for sale out there. By following these five auto classified tips, however, you can help ensure that your ad gets noticed and that your car is sold as quickly as possible.

1. Take a Good Picture

You could be selling one of the nicest vehicles in the world, but you will have a more difficult time selling it if you don't take a good picture. Human beings are visual creatures, and seeing a nice picture of a nice vehicle will help encourage would-be buyers to contact you. Before taking your picture, make sure that you clean your vehicle well so that it looks nice in the snapshot. Also, take your time while taking pictures, and consider the glare of the sun and other factors that might make your photo come out less than top-notch. In fact, it's a good idea to take several pictures of the interior and exterior of the car if you want to really get noticed.

2. ...
... Be Careful with Pricing

Many people just a slap a price on their vehicles and hope for the best, but this isn't always a good way of determining how much you want to sell your vehicle for. Instead, do your research to find out what other similar cars are going for in your area, and price your vehicle accordingly. If the vehicle is too cheap, people might assume that there is something wrong with it and might not call. If it is too costly, however, they might not call to try to negotiate with you.

3. List Multiple Contact Options

If a potential buyer tries to call you and doesn't get an answer, he or she might never call again. For best results, offer a few different contact options; for example, you might want to list your home phone number, cell phone number and email address. If people have more ways of contacting you, they might stand a better chance of actually calling or emailing.

4. Don't Fib

It can be tempting to fib about the condition of your vehicle, but some people can spot issues from a mile away, and it's never good to knowingly sell a vehicle in poor condition to someone else. Instead of fibbing, tell the truth; regardless of the situation that your vehicle might be in right now, chances are good that someone will want it.

5. Give it Personality

Giving your vehicle a bit of personality can help you bring in potential buyers. For example, you can talk about cheerful your convertible is when the top is down or how tough your pickup truck can be. By giving your vehicle description a bit of personality, you can help people imagine themselves driving it.

Selling a car isn't always easy, but following these tips and using free Auto Classifieds listings can help you sell your vehicle without too much of a hassle.
