The successful candidate is one who can identify opportunities for the IBM IT Service Management solutions.
The IBM Tivoli Service Delivery and Process Automation Solutions V3 exam is aimed at those who are able to identify opportunities and are able to influences the course of action to be taken for IBM IT Service Management solutions within the customer environment. Section 4: Define IT Asset and Service Management Products
Identify communication and data needs
Identity the list of IBM solutions and their capabilities and compare against the customer’s processes and requirements to determine a solution.
Section 5: Create, Justify, and Deliver Solution Design Recommendations
Analyze platform limitations of the products involved and recommend hardware and OS platforms for the solution.
Analyze product performance requirements and suggest solution
Analyze the product licensing requirements and explain to customer
Analyze the customer requirement and find the best solution
Describe the best processes and a detailed product functionality
Recommended Prerequisite Skills
It is recommended that candidates have the knowledge in IT Asset and Service Management. They should be familiar with IT organization structures and the key IT Asset and Service Management competitors. A conceptual knowledge of IT directory/LDAP functionality and familiarity with key IBM products is required. They should also have knowledge of the Tivoli products capabilities and its features and how users would use the products
