Now starting to attain more popularity also to foreign hiking community.Standing high at a height of 2922 meters (9587 ft.) above sea level, it is the highest peak in Luzon (and the third tallest in the Philippines).The locals stated that Mt. Pulag is the "playground of the gods".
Covering 11,550 hectares with parts in Benguet, Nueva Vizcaya, and Ifugao. Mt. Pulag was declared on 1987 national park for the purpose of preserving and protecting the eco-system as well as those endangered animals who lives within the mountainous area. Mt. Pulag is considered sacred to some Tribes.
