The Biggest Reasons You Should Avoid Mlm
Multi level marketing appears to be a go idea and a bad afterthought all at the same instance. If you have spent any time learning about MLM, then you probably already know what this good and bad thing might be. Simply put, it is the pyramid model that works with MLM.
You have a line of people working under you and those people have people working under them. Commissions get paid up the pyramid and the idea is that everybody makes a ton of money. But, things never go as planned. This is why you should learn all of the little details before you get sucked in.
You've probably been told that MLM opportunities are better money makers than any other type of business model. This is absolutely wrong. In fact, only 1% (or less) actually make any money at all with MLM. That is the truth! It is actually a lot easier to simply start your own business and sell your own products or services. The business model presented by MLM companies is on shaky ground, a way of business that is not recommended for all. In fact, a trivial bookkeeping error would more than likely derail any MLM juggernaut.
People within the MLM business ...
... often cast it as a positive environment and an affirming lifestyle. However, this is far from the truth because fear is a major player in the MLM world. Multi level marketing recruits get the interest of people because they scare them into thinking that they cannot do any better due to the way that the job market is steadily going down. MLM recruiters will make their recruits want to work on their own, but not feel confident to get out of the MLM system. This is not even remotely friendly, affirming or positive, is it?
There is not much of a change between recruiting new hires and promoting products, when it comes to the methods that are used.
You will often hear, usually from the people who are trying to recruit you, that MLM is a risk-free business. This is often because the vendor will let you return the product if you cannot sell it for one reason or another. Most of the the companies that are involved in this kind of program have policies that are difficult to follow when it comes to returning merchandise. You do not have a lot of time to get these products returned. Most times the amount of money spent on the original product is never fully returned. The MLM business model has always been fraught with flaws and problems, so much so that it's more akin to a scam. Unfortunately, with so many newbies looking for ways to get rich quick without doing any work falling for the marketing hype, it's obvious to see how MLM continues to survive. Those who do get sucked into MLm after falling for the hype are the ones who end up losing money, losing friends, and then losing faith in the idea of making money online at all. Don't become guilty of making this same error with your own online business endeavors.
