The most difficult part of any business is change. However, these changes are necessary – good or bad, although, sometimes, these changes may mean having to shut down the entire operation to ensure the safety of other businesses under the same company. Sometimes, it is a money saving move to avoid further losses which could possible lead to more debt. Everyone can see this happening in the physical world; the online industry is not safe from this as well.

Symantec is a popular name in the cloud backup business. It was able to gather a lot of during the years that it existed. However, they saw it necessary to shut down operations. Of course, looking out for their clients’ convenience, they have given an allowance of until January 6 of next year to find another cloud backup service provider.

Knowing of the situation, several cloud backup companies took this opportunity as a chance for them to offer their services to the clients that was once with Symantec. Some of the cloud backup companies that have been actively offering their services to the clients are the following:

For a price of $2,000, they can already help you in discovering the environment, system design and recommendation for the best means of operating the business, set-up, deployment, and testing. Moreover, they are also offering free services until the 6th of January, 2015.

This is another cloud backup service provider who is taking advantage of the situation, although, their services are top of the line.

The package that they are offering clients from Symantec is called a Trade-Up program. BUMI is offering three alternatives. First is the BUMI There option. This basically allows you to outsource all the data from your previous provider into BUMI’s.

BUMI Here allows you to create your very own cloud. This will be used by the company as its remote source of storage device. This is also capable of recover the company’s files previously stored in the Symantec.

BUMI Everywhere on the other is like a combination of the previous two – allows the user to manage the cloud online and offline.

In order to avail of their services, BUMI only asks you to confirm your previous account in Symantec and sign a 12-month contract.

It is again one of those cloud backup companies who are taking advantage of the situation and this is a good option for those who are looking for higher quality of services at a lower price. In addition, they are already offering an addition 20 percent discount during the transition period.

The service already includes a faster and technical support conducted through landline. The standards of services are based from the United States.

Change is good – good or bad. What matters is where you are going for the change to happen.
