Why Dental Implants Are So Much Better Than Dentures
Dental implants are just one of the many newer ways to care for teeth. Once the only option was to have a denture or a part plate if only a few teeth were missing; these days you can have a false tooth screwed right into the bone of the jaw. At least, the base for the tooth is implanted into the jawbone and left to heal, then the tooth is screwed into that base giving you the look and feel of a natural tooth.

A temporary filling is put in while the antiseptic does its work. After several days the dentist will examine the area and put in a permanent filling if all is okay.
With the nerve removed, the tooth will change colour gradually and become a little darker, however that is better than losing the tooth and having a gap.
