Step1:
Obtain detailed information from your veterinary school about the state's exam requirements. You may refer to your lecturers or counselors for further information. If you study online, you can obtain the information from the official website of American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB). Download all the related information for reference.

Step 2:
Apply to sit for the exam. What you need to do is to ensure your veterinary school has submitted the proof of your graduation to AAVSB directly. Bear in mind that you are not allowed submit yourself. The supporting document must come from your school directly.

Step 3:
Get the approval from AAVSB to sit for the exam. The board will inform you the ...
... venue and date of the exam.

Step 4:
Set your study schedule and start doing preparation for exam. Make sure you have enough time for revision. Get yourself familiar with the exam format. You can purchase VTNE practice test online from the website of AAVSB. You can also download and print out a complete VTNE Candidate Handbook from the same website too. At the same time, find more reading materials which are related to the exam in the library or through the internet. If you feel that your practical skill is not good, you should enhance it by joining more lab practices.
