Origami is an ancient art from Japan and it is something that is done just with the help of paper. Nowadays, many people have taken this as their hobby, while some people have started thinking about how to make origami paper art. Under this art, the paper is folded for creating different shapes like that of a simple ball to complex birds and animals too. The Origami ball or water balloon is a fun toy that can be made with the help of a paper. Once the folding is done, it can be inflated to get the shape of the ball by blowing it. It can be filled with water for throwing or it can also be kept dry and can be used as a ball. Now, let us find how to make it:

Take a white or any other color paper or even a gift wrapper to make colorful ball. Fold it half diagonally and open it and again fold in the opposite direction. Now, the paper should have an ‘X’ shaped crease.

Then, fold it in the center vertically and open it and again do it horizontally. Now, the paper will have both a ‘plus’ mark and an ‘x’ mark.

Now, keep it in such a way that the open side is down and pull the top corners into the center. ...
... Now, there will be two triangles and here position them so that the open fold is kept at the bottom.

Now, fold the corners that create the base of the triangle upwards. Now, fold every corner in such a way that they meet at the top of the triangle and this should be done on all four corners, thereby forming a square.

Then, fold the edges on the sides of the square in an inward direction in such a way that they meet at the center. This should be done on all four corners and the folded corners should open fold on the bottom. Also, there should be a flap under each of these folds that bends upwards.

Fold the flap under the folded corner into the open fold and this should also be done on all four flaps.

Now, place your mouth at the open end and now the paper should inflate thereby forming a ball like structure.
