Tax Service Company Was Short Lived 321-947-9389

Instant Tax Service Plus was a helpline service that catered to accountants; CPA’s and tax professionals alike within the state of Florida and neighboring states. It allowed professionals to either call in or send a text message with questions or concerns about tax/accounting information. The most positive benefit of this service was that you could literally send a text message or call 24 hours a day 7 days a week. That seemed to be the strongest suite for the company. Giving professionals 24 hour access to someone who can help answer questions or point them in the right direction is something that professionals would enjoy, however to support this type of service is no easy task. Tax Service Plus had trouble meeting the demand but proves to be a valuable service if the logistics were fixed or well funded. Unfortunately it only lasted 2-3 months as their revenue model wasn’t sustainable.

... professionals who could answer accounting or tax questions and be available 24/7. The company tried to expand by allowing certified professional to work from home and simply have all calls routed to them but that became unreliable.

The company generated a revenue topping $13,000 over the past months which is rather commendable for a start up but soon was unable to keep customers happy. Text messages began to grow and became a tedious task of messaging back and forth. The business model can work if customers paid for certain time frames or paid in credits for the amount of help they received, however that would destroy the greatest benefit of being a 24/7 support service.

There were many challenges faced, entrepreneur and investor, Brian Galloway stated “We will reconstruct our infrastructure, we can see the demand for this type of service but there are certain tweaks that need to be made.”

The market is wide open for these types of services in 2014 and challenges will always arise when providing a 24/7 type of service.
