What really matters on skilled migration is the ability to get as much points on Skillselect as possible. One needs to place an EOI ‘Expression on Interest’ along with all the details on the nominated occupation, skills, education, professional work experience and proficiency on English language. Skillselect will rate the skills as against a set criterion on eligibility. The applicants with at least 60 points on the board will only be able to qualify for the next round. Skillselect will take the invitations to those who have performed outstandingly well on the race to visa.
Whether or not you get the work visa depends on how you comprehend the facts and utilize the same to highlight your skills. Not only should you highlight your skills but the application should also have the IELTS certificate and the Assessment sheet. Your proficiency on English should be stated days before placing the EOI. One must take the exam at the authorised centre to show competencies on reading, writing, listening and speaking English.
