A lot has been said in a negative tone about salts in general, and this is why many would want to avoid salt from their daily diets. There are manufacturers that claim to have their food items made either with low salt usage or without salt for that matter, so that they gain trust from their clients and customers alike. However, we tend to forget that while in this day and age we demonize the usage of salts, in the past, salts were the weight of gold. In fact, it is from the word salt that the term salary is born. Without salt, our bodies wouldn’t be able to function as well. And with the right amounts consumed every day, one wouldn’t have to worry about ailments, such as high blood pressure or heart diseases.

Say goodbye to refined salts

The main problem when it comes to suffering from cardiovascular diseases and blood pressure is the use of refined salts in large amounts. Most processed foods have refined salts in them, and this is done to make the item tasty and delicious. Fast food services and food packagers too use plenty of salts for preservation and cooking needs. And then there are those who love ...
... salts with plenty of fats in their foods, not knowing when to stop. This is why dieticians tell their clients to rely more on a heavy consumption of fresh fruits and veggies, which have natural salts and minerals in them, rather than on excess refined salt consumption. Health experts would always recommend unprocessed sea salts in your daily diet, and never demonize their usage.

The water levels of the body would be controlled by potassium and sodium, which helps the blood and the tissues as well. If there is too much or too little of the elements in the human body, it could be fatal for the individual too. For vegetarians that live largely on fresh veggies and fruits, a little salt is a must to help maintain balance. There is a lot of potassium available in fruits and veggies, but sodium and minerals of varied kinds too should be consumed for the body to function well.

Benefits of using salts that isn’t refined

Blood sugar levels are balanced

Food particles are absorbed quick and easily

Phlegm and mucus formation is a thing of the past

Salts are natural anti-histamine

Bone structure firmness taken care of

Be innovative and creative using unprocessed sea salts in your daily meals, ask your dietician and they would tell you how.
