Bs7799 - Using Cobra
The BS7799 was first issued by the British Standards Institute in 1995 and subsequently revised in 1999, 2000, 2002 and finally in 2005. The BS7799 had been fast tracked into ISO17799 and ISO27001. There are BS7799 certifications available from many independent accredited certification agencies the world over.
While the BS7799 has become the accepted standard for information security, all organizations are benchmarked against the standards set out in this statement but how to measure the compliance level in an organization.
