The Kota or the Kota Doria, is a work of pure silk and cotton. It is popularly known as 'Masuria' in Kota and Kota Doria outside of Rajasthan. Doria means thread. The Kota Cotton fabric is translucent muslin, much preferred for its light weight, softness and airy comfort. Pure Cotton with golden Zari threads woven in square patterns is a popular variety.
