The fastest leveling guide is out there somewhere. It wasn't designed just for a hunter, it comes with some extras, and it is also packaged with other great guides that all World of Warcraft players need.

Some of the early pioneers of the quest circuit designed paths using hunters. It is of no surprise as they are easily one of the most survivable classes in the game. In order to create these quest circuits they spent a ton of time... time that would have been increased if they spent a lot of time doing corpse runs.

Unfortunately, these guides ended up being best used for hunters only as there are some quests that a few classes simply can not complete without help.

So people had a choice. Skip these quests (and replace it with grinding) or find help. I hate bothering my friends for questing help, especially at low levels (I would much rather have them run me through an instance or two), so I ended up skipping many of these quests. Skipping one quest leads to skipping many others, which increases the grinding time... and we ALL hate grinding.

All guides should come with extras. There are basic necessities ...

The first is an in game add on that shows you what to do and where to go. Unlike the free guides that I used to use, you don't have to alt+tab out of the game to find out what is next.

The other bonus is that it shows you on your map where to go. Free add ons, like quest helper, show you a dot for every quest location. It is very difficult to maximize your XP per hour with 25 dots on your map (or more... Quest Helper always breaks.)

You should also get a talent guide that shows you what to spend your talents on. Whether you want to level your paladin as Ret, Prot, or Holy. Most guides lump every class into one bundle, which would have had you leveling as Ret... even if you like the occasional tank work.
