Aam Aadmi Party To Govern In Delhi
It may be a roller coaster ride for the party leaders and the party workers in the past few months, but hard work has shown its true colors. Yes, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has changed the Political Trends in India within a year. Amidst lots of speculations, refusals, finally AAP and its members are set to form the new state government in Delhi. The official statement is due to be out within the next few days, still confirmation is likely to arrive from party leaders that the city is going to witness Arvind Kejriwal holding the position of the next chief minister.
It was last year when AAP was formed, and within a year it has shown wonders by securing 28 seats out of 70 seats in Delhi assembly polls. Arvind Kejriwal seems to be very focused about his work and has already built a structured plan which includes the list of promises and the priorities set by him to the general mass. Kejriwal makes it clear that no time will be wasted and the promises will turn into reality after he arrives into power. Supply of 700 litres of water to almost each household holds first position in the list.
The party may not have lots ...
... of Political Experience like the other venerable parties, but they have strong determination to do something new and concrete. The spokesperson of the party, Manish Sisodia said that party will work on each sector, but its prime concern is to activate the Jan Lokpal Bill which has been passed by both the houses this December. Jan Lokpal Bill is an anti-corruption bill to investigate corruption cases.
AAP has always been technology savvy, be it for the promotion of the party, to make people aware of their ideologies or to get into power. After their success, the party is again on the social platform, conducting a referendum which asks that should the party accept outside political support to form the government to the public. The unique part of the AAP strategy is that they have strongly involved the general public in all the decisions the party has taken so far. For the party, the Public View is very important and they make it a point to get it done. Lakhs of people have participated in the referendum that is carried out through text messages, online polls and even recorded over telephone lines. It was calculated that great majority of people wants AAP to form the government.
Recently at an award function held by one of the leading news channels, Arvind Kejriwal stated that in near future after formation of government he will make it a point to conduct such referendums on various critical decisions.
India has always witnessed different promises made by various political parties, which never turns into reality in most cases. The general public who are the vote banks are gradually losing hopes on Political Parties of India and their Political Leaders. With time it will be clear as to where AAP stands.
Janpratinidhi.com provides a great platform to the voters from all the constituencies of the country to choose political party which they think can stand for their expectations. The formation of government is a tedious job and more importantly the Political Parties of India have to be very active and enthusiastic about the duty they have to carry out.
