... In the year 1786, Michael Paccard and Jacques Balmat started their journey on 8th of August. Balmat won the title of Mont Blanc circuit champion. The reason behind their success is their incomparable courage, perseverance, and strength. Their success paved the way for numerous aspiring mountaineers and trekkers. The legacy of the Mont Blanc trekking is famous all over the Walkers High road. It is also famous regarding woman trekkers. She used to be a maid from Chamonix and she associated herself with Balmata in 1808. It was never a simple task for her, but she was resilient and reached the top of this mountain on July 14. Afterwards she was known as Maria de Mont Blanc. But she has trained champions after that. Almost after 3 decades, Henriette Angeville was the second woman to climb this mountain. Paradis attended the celebration and congratulated her. Angeville was a French trekker and she always look up to Paradis as a role model.
