Not to mention that oysters are well known as aphrodisiacs, so there could be more than one reason why they are included in a fertility diet. Eating portions of fresh fruits and vegetables on a daily basis is recommended for a healthy lifestyle, but also for increasing the chances of getting pregnant. And now for the bad foods that should be avoided during the period in which you and your partner want to conceive. First of all, excessive caffeine is bound to be avoided along with alcohol and smoking. Drinking alcohol more than normally can lead to infertility in men and women likewise. Although there are many supplements and herbal products on the market that claim to be included in the range of fertile foods, their actual properties have not been proved, so it is best to avoid them or to consult a specialist who can offer more insight on specific products.
