Literally speaking, Foxtrot is a smooth American dance introduced to the public in 1913. There are different theories on the source of Foxtrot style. The most often popular story is that the dance was made popular by a new man named Harry Fox who was a vaudeville comedian with the Ziegfeld Follies.
