At What Age Muslim Girls Start Wearing Hijab
According to the culture of Islam, every individual becomes accountable for his/her activities as soon as he/she attains the age of puberty. From this age, the teachings about modesty in dressing applies to every individual irrespective of whether the individual is a boy or a girl. The modest clothings are based on the preachings on the Quran and on the basis of particular traditions or sayings of the Prophet Muhammad. When talking about tradition, it was reported that a young woman visited the wife of the Prophet named Aisha and at that time the woman was wearing a see-through clothing. When the prophet saw the woman, he averted his eyes and told that after a girl attains the age of puberty, she should completely cover her body with appropriate clothing, whenever she sees other men in the community other than her husband. It is said that the modesty in dressing started from this event.
Muslim parents, generally teach their young girl child about the modesty in wearing dresses even before she attains the age of puberty. Even before they wear the hijab, which is the covering for head after reaching puberty, they are not ...
... allowed to wear short skirts and shorts, sleeveless tops and belly shirts in public.
In some cultures and families, girls are forced to wear hijab after attaining maturity and after seeing their mom and other women in the society, some girls start wearing them even before they attain puberty. Nowadays, some families are leaving the decision of wearing hijab to the decision of their daughters themselves. Even though, they are taught about the responsibility in their community, they are finally allowed to take their own decision.
Some years ago, women of this community were wearing the same type of hijabs, but nowadays, young girls have the option of wearing them in different colors and attractive stone works. They can procure different models of this head covering from hijab store online.
There are fancy and crystal engraved hijabs and they are also available in attractive colors and even designs. The hijab store online, not only deal with hijabs, but they also have abayas in different fashions and colors for Islamic women to select from. Even, some of these stores are dealing with wholesale sales and when a group of women can jointly procure them in wholesale, they can save a lot of money on their purchase.
All it takes is the selection of the right online store that can ensure timely delivery of the purchased clothes.
