The clothing industry can be considered as a very big one to be involved in. It is not because of the size of their revenue in one transaction, it is in the number of companies trying to get involved in it. It is lucky for any new company to enter join in now and not flunk.

It is just a stroke of luck and skill that Luke Clothing did not go that way.

Luke Clothing, if you compare it to other well established clothing companies is fairly new. This company started in 2001, and back then, it has established itself as a contemporary men’s wear brand. Years removed from its humble beginnings, it has expanded to far corners of the world.

In spite its brand becoming global and is not becoming more and more competitive, it kept its branding and its value in which it has been known for.

In addition to keeping its brand, Luke Clothing has always been associated with a more contemporary look – a gentleman who is always out to get work, and often times, have a certain disregard for the rules. Luke Roper was the kid who pre-conceived the idea of starting Luke Clothing. He already had the family background to begin with. He had a mother who was very talented in making dresses and a father who works hard in what he does. Again, he already had the background of hard work and talent. It was already in the genes.

It was at the age of 12 that he found out that he had a talent in dealing with sewing machines. Of course, he also loved baseball at that time. However, by the age of 15, individuals from all over their locality were calling out to the youngster to make their clothing. Soon after, almost every individual from around town, including those who go to parties, are already wearing clothing wear that Luke made.

By the age of 20, one of the most influential design schools in United Kingdom, Central St. Martins, invited him and granted him scholarship. He took his time developing and mastering the skill of making dresses. It was also in this institution where he met his eventual partner in establishing Luke Clothing, and soon enough after graduation they started their journey.

Until this day, Luke Clothing was never tainted with any other branding – they follow their principles in making their style. Never were they influenced by the pressures from outside to change according to what the trend dictates. They are proud of their brand and they are sticking to it.

This goes to show that whenever you are passionate about what you do, success will eventually follow you. No matter what it is, talent and your heart will drive you to success.
