Facet Joint Stabilization-minimum Invasive Treatment For Back Pain

Facet Joints are the small stabilizing joints having small faces and are located between and behind the adjacent vertebrae. Almost all levels of the spine can move and are flexible. Due to these facet joints, our body can do normal forward movement, side bends, extension of the flexion and rotation. The spinal range can move due to the combined movement of these facet joints. Due to various reasons dysfunction of these facet joints can happen and Facet Joint Stabilization Treatment becomes mandatory.
Facet joint pains are one sided pain and worsen when more movement happens. The pain increases when the person bends to the side or try to bend backward. There may be stiffness of joints. Most of the patients lose the flexibility of their spinal muscle and experience low back pain that spreads down to the buttocks. To treat such conditions Facet Joint Stabilization is used. The conditions that can be treated using this surgery is severe painful symptoms that may occur due to facet hypertrophy, degenerative facet conditions, facet arthritis etc. To perform this surgery, a very small incision is made using latest stabilization ...
... instruments and transdermal accesses. The joint is stabilized so that they do not rub against the adjacent nerves. The process gets accomplished within an hour and because of minimum invasion needed scar is not visible and wounds get healed fast.
Spinal Anterior Cervical Fusion Surgery Treatment Tulsa is also getting popular for treating neck pains which could not be relieved with medication and needed surgical intervention. To treat cervical spine problems through surgery, the most common surgical procedure used is the anterior cervical discectomy. It means removing the disc. When the herniated disc is removed the pressure that used to get created on the nerve root is reduced. When this surgery is done in the cervical spine, the disc is removed from the front. An incision is made in front of the neck beside the windpipe or trachea. The muscles are moved to the side and it is done in such a way that arteries and nerves in the neck are protected very well.
After reaching the spine from the front, each disc and vertebra is identified so that right disc is removed. Any bone spurs found are also removed. This process of discectomy or disc removal is combined with spine fusion. For spine fusion, two vertebrae on either side of the removed disc are fused together which is also called cervical fusion.
