Herbal medicines like Swaskuthar ras, soothing Vasavleha, and the natural Sitopaladi Choorna, are proven to be the great relieving medicines that are derived from the elements of nature itself.
Ayurveda also suggests few of the effective measures for asthma that can be derived from things generally used by people in their daily life, for example, by using Ajwain, tulsi, Marica and Ginger, one can prepare the herbal tea, which is of immense advantage for asthma relief. Turmeric, Curcuma Longa, herbs like Sirisa, Clove, Triphala, Senna, Harad and Tulsi are highly beneficial for Asthma patients. Honey has always been treated as a nature’s boon for asthma control by Ayurveda. Keeping the nose close to a mug that contains honey and just inhaling the air above it will help an asthma patient. Patients can also have honey in half proportion with edibles like dates, black raisins, amla, or pippali, and they can be treated with the incredible relaxing impacts of honey.
Mustard oil, another natural product, relaxes an asthma patient once it is applied all over his chest and massaged properly. Benefits can be enhanced if the oil is warmed up to a little temperature. However, if the patient is kept away from the triggers, and by having a bit of knowledge about asthma control at home, one can prevent such emergencies.
