There are a couple of things that will happen as you age. Number one, death has everybody's number; it's just a matter of time. Two, everyone has to deal with the problems of getting older. Use these anti-aging tips to do what you can to mitigate the effects of aging.

Don't frown if you want to avoid wrinkles. Beyond ruining your mood, frowning is bad for the face. Every time you feel that you begin to frown give yourself a tiny pinch so that you stop. In time, you will break the habit.

Focus on the quality of your life and stop worrying about statistics. Your doctors are paid for worrying about height, age, and weight. If you think about your age or other numbers you will skip out on the enjoyment of life.

Step up your fitness routine. As your body ages, it needs more activity to keep itself strong and malleable. Take some quick walks for thirty minutes, at least five days every week. Try adding in strength exercises about two times a week. When you do this, you will stay strong and healthy and avoid many of the problems that arise with age.

Protect your skin in both the sun and snow. If you are outside when it is too hot or cold, you can really harm your skin. You can then start to age prematurely, and it can also lead to skin cancer problems.

Keep only the positive people in your life. The more you smile and laugh, the younger you will look and feel. In order to have something to laugh about, you need to hang around people whose company you enjoy, not those who make you frown.

Have lots of fun! More than ever in your life, you have the freedom to do what you want to do and the ability to make things happen. Think positive and suck life's marrow out of every precious day on Earth. It is good to be alive!

Reducing the amount of red meat and increasing the amount of fish in your diet can help to prevent heart disease. Eating meat can result in heart disease as it clogs your arteries' lining. Fish is a much healthier choice of protein.

Revisiting hobbies that you may not have had time for in the past is a great way to maintain a positive attitude about aging. You can now focus on the things that you couldn't do because of work or family. A hobby such as painting, crafts, or a sport can keep you outwardly focused.
