Dry eyes is a very common problem that eye specialists come across. It is a situation where there are lack of adequate tears to nourish the eye. Anything in the environment that harms your eyes cause dryness. Not blinking eyes frequently can also dry your eyes. Whenever you do reading, or work on a computer or engaged in a work like sewing, you tend to blink less frequently. It means the less you blink, the more your eyes become dry.

Wearing sunglasses when outdoors can also protect your eyes from wind and dust.

Always remember to wear sunglasses whenever you go outside, as it will protect your eyes from dry wind and pollution

Try to have nutritional supplements.
It is believed that taking steroids eye drops can be very effective
Restasis is a highly recommended medicine which is taken for the treatment of dryness in the eyes.

If you are taking Restasis then you should not take any other medicine.
Patients must avoid juice and grape fruit while taking this medicine.
