Performer alone does not perform on the stage was believed by me when I faced the situation myself. Earlier I just used to think that it is the talent and skill of the performer which makes the audience gaze at the show. But, the thing was realized when the reality was faced by me. The main thing that helped the performer to outreach large number of audience was the stage sets. The performer is alone without the stage.

Set designing is almost an important part of the theatre construction. The aesthetics i.e. the artistic qualities of a theater are a lot as important as the production taking place therein. There is approximate transformation about the stage; even the plain emptiness of the theater, that can alter the entire mindset of an onlookers before a single note of a proposal is played, before a single line of discourse is spoken. Other aspects of theater design that influence the viewers are camera placement, stage lighting, costume design, and the sort of stage on which a production is performed.

The design and construction of a theater can bring the onlookers to another period of time when men ...
... wear their traditional costumes and women wear gowns. It is not only their effort that makes the show a big hit but the characterization, setting, stage and all equipment is responsible for the success. There is a hope by the onlookers of quality of performance in spaces such as this. The space weights the presentation and help to meet the quality of its construction, in the entire play.

If there weren’t sets to perform then where the performer would have performed, isn’t it? It is not possible for the performer to perform in the same level where the audiences are seated, right? Not only performing on the same level is difficult for the performer but it is difficult for the audiences as well. The viewers who are seated at the corner can’t even have a glance at the performers.

Not only performing on the same level will steal the fun of the show but it will be a dumbstruck performance too. The lighting, the camera platforms and the stage won’t be much fun then. Neither the performer will be able to attract the audience nor will the audience enjoy the show. So, to make the show the biggest hit; stage, camera, lighting and the performer all are important.
