The Ultimate Competition Of Hottest Smartphones
I have always been a Windows Mobile fan. But iPhone changed my view toward smartphones and their operating systems. The outstanding interface and multi-points touch operation are more comfortable and intelligent and the commercialized software platform almost exceeded Windows mobiles.
After years of development and improvement, more and more sophisticated phones with good looks are made for users choice. The competition is getting fiercer than ever before! Let's have a look at all the fantastic smartphones released in the year 2008!
The candidate phones are devided by operating system:
iPhone & Gphone: iPhone 3G and Google G1
Symbian: Nokia N96, Nokia E71 and Samsung i8510
Windows Mobile: HTC Touch Diamond, HTC Touch HD, Samsung Omnia i900 and Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1
Three criteria are given to this evaluation:
User experience - for which up to 30' will be awarded;
Hardware configurations - this carries a 35' weighting;
Operating system - for which 35' can be awarded.
Since the detailed competition contains too much words which is not allowed according ...

The result of the competition shows that iPhone 3G gets the highest mark for its balanced performance and obvious ascendency in operating system. Windows mobile smartphones - Sony Ericsson X1, HTC Touch HD and Samsung Omnia i900 - take the second place with the same mark.
However, smartphones with symbian OS don't get high marks. Even Nokia E71 is impressive only in user experience thanks to its hardware and behind-hand operating method. We are expecting to see Nokia's better smartphones in 2009.
As for the newborn Android OS, Google G1 is far away from other smartphones' strength whether in design or inner system.
Awards:
Best smartphone: iPhone 3G
With innovation and down-to-earth spirit iPhone 3G shocked smartphone market. Both its influence and its strength make it the best.
Best hardware equipped smartphone: HTC Touch HD
HTC Touch HD embraces outstanding hardware - its screen, processor, internal memory and camera achieve a new Windows mobile level.
Best industrial design smartphone: Sony Ericsson Xperia X1
Among all the candidates, Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 is the most perfectly designed smartphone.
