It is prudent to carry some warm attire and good walking shoes are vital for desert hills and unpaved paths.
Accommodation is not a problem as Egypt is well-equipped with innumerable staying options in all range of budgets. Guides to all the sights can be easily hired although like in any other touristy destinations, it is safer to avoid touts. There are plenty of travel agencies willing to shell out information about Egypt and offer Egypt travel deals at reasonable prices.
