There are many things that you may be able to see and areas of interest that you can visit while in Lloret for a holiday. The Sant Roma church which is a gothic formation was targeted to be a sort of refuge from pirate attackers that came from turkey and Algeria. It was completed in the1522 and over the years, there have been major restorations witnessed here. The building has now been converted into something so spectacular bearing modernist, Moorish, byzantine and renaissance influences written all over it.

The Sant Joan Castile is yet another attraction within the area. It is medieval and was established ...
... over the 11th century. It was also aimed at defense from attackers, which was quite common in Lloret in the past. This is a fortress that was operation up to the 17th century. The only part remaining is the tower that was recently restored, 1992 to be specific. It is a place where you can take in views from the areas surrounding without any problem.

The fisherman’s wife monument is yet another wonderful feature in the area. It is a sculpture that is made of gold. It is in Lloret and commemorates the millennium of Lloret De Mar. It is a very emblematic symbol and there are several legends that claim that when one touches the foot of the sculpture while their eyes are on the horizon, the wishes they may have come true.

The Santa Clotilde gardens are also quite significant. They are in a renaissance style as designed by one Nicolau Rubio. They stand at a cliff and offer some unbeatable sea views in the area.

Other places include modernist cemetery, settlements, Sant Pere del Bosc sanctuary, the angel monument, several chapels and the maritime museums. There are coves and beaches too within Lloret that should be visited over the holiday in the area.
