... new home construction.
• Vacuum
• Feather duster
• Rugs and Towels
• Bucket
• Dish soap, Sponge and Bleach
• Broom or soft-bristled brush

Organize, Prioritize, Clean

Clear the home with any construction debris. These construction materials and debris are obstacles with your cleaning, make sure to take them out outside where they could never spread dirt while you are cleaning particularly if you are going to use vacuum cleaner when cleaning your home.

Divide your pre-cleaning task into those a set of activities where you can determine where you should start and where you need to end. Make sure to divide them depending on what portions on your home could wait and what are not. EX: floors, walls, windows, counters and cabinets should be cleaned even before your possessions arrive. It is much easier to clean an open space rather than having your appliance and belonging be a hindrance to your cleaning project. Cleaning using strong chemicals are needed to be done weeks before your move-in date.

Cleaning up the Heavy Dust
Before cleaning up the whole area of your home, make sure to clean heavy dust first. Wipe the counters and cupboards using a dry duster to remove the saw dust. Start at the ceiling in every room, and dust the top and sides of everything. Vacuum the entire area to be cleaned. Vacuum would eliminate dusts that are flying on the room that may cause the floor to be dirty. You may clean the entry area inside and out. Sweep the floor using the soft brush to remove dirt from the feather duster and the vacuum excess. Mop the flooring using a floor cleaner; make sure to remove your shoes and your socks when cleaning.

Final Cleaning
After clearing out the dust, it is time to completely clean the home and disinfect it. Bring the bucket of bleach water, paper towels and sponge for the last cleaning process. Soak the sponge and wring out until it is damp. Wipe everything from the ceiling of each room and wipe the walls using the damp sponge. Make sure to perform this after the paint dried to avoid issues with the paint job.

Disinfect the home using rubbing alcohol and paper towels to shine chrome-plated fixtures. You may use alcohol wipes to disinfect these areas. Also, remember that wood and alcohol is a bad idea and it would turn your wood furniture into white. Spray and wipe all mirrors using rubbing alcohol. Wipe out sinks and also around newly caulked areas. Make sure to check the caulk and report it to the builders whenever you see loose part of it.
Remove all cleaning materials from the newly constructed home.

Hire a Professional Cleaner
Professional cleaning services will do more thorough cleaning job that you can do on your own. It is a great solution particularly if your time is short, or you have allergies with dust and other elements present in a construction like paint scent and the smell of concrete.

It is essential to hire professional cleaning services to deep-clean carpeting, floors and upholstery. They can re-polish composite countertops, disinfect and remove any build-up dirt and mildew on your appliances and clean hard-to-reach areas like elevated windows.

If you are going to hire these professionals, make sure to list all the tasks that you are expecting. Make sure that after the end of the job, carefully inspect everything and make sure that everything on the list has been accomplished.
