By doing so you can dramatically increase your chances of being a Contest Winner. Here are some tips to improve your chances of being a Contest Winner.

If you look at any Sweepstakes and Contest you will see more running than you could possibly enter to win. You are better off focusing your efforts on prizes that you really want to win. For instance, if you know you won't be able to attend something to possible be that Contest Winner or you have no use for a certain product, don't waste your time entering. A giveaway that is awarding 200 prizes is going to be a two hundred times easier to win than a giveaway that has a single prize. Restrictions limited your chances of being a Contest Winner


States have their own rules governing Sweepstakes and Contest. As a result of that, some sponsors will prohibit entry from residents of certain states. Florida, New York, and Rhode Island tend to be excluded from large sweepstakes. California and Utah are rarely included in Sweepstakes and Contest sponsored by wine or beer companies. As for Hawaii and Alaska they are often left out because of the shipping to those states is most expensive. Entering Sweepstakes and Contest where certain states are excluded means that the number of people who can enter will be much lower. If there is less competition, that means your chances are higher to the Contest Winner. Be on the look out for those. Again, these restrictions can be a good and bad thing, increasing or decreasing your chances of being a Contest Winner.


There are some sponsors who will restrict entry by specific age ranges or genders. As an example, most Sweepstakes and Contest allow entry by people over 18 years of age. Local Sweepstakes and Contest are a plethora for contest hunters, since the number of entries is usually spec as compared to the entries received by national sweeps. Make sure you adhere to the rules as it would not be pleasant to find out you are the Contest Winner and then have it taken away from you on account of a technicality.


If you see Sweepstakes that are broadcasted in newspapers, on television and on the radio, you can assume that the number of entries is going to be through the roof and your chances of winning will be very low. Try not to Focus a lot on Sweepstakes and Contest that advertise all over the place.


Some Sweepstakes have short entry periods of only a week or two, while others can last a year or more. The longer the entry period is, the more people will find it and enter and your chances of being a Contest Winner are much less. Commonly, many people tend to overlook sweepstakes that are only available for a limited time. With those your chances to win will grow.


There are times that sweepstakes will require you to do things like by providing UPC codes, answering trivia questions (Common with Contest) or require you to fill out some sort of survey. This can slow down your entry time and that can be to your advantage. Many other entrants will get frustrated and give up. That will open the door, making your chances of winning much higher. Contests require skill, such as submitting a piece of poetry, a favorite recipe. Contests tend to have fewer entrants because of the time evolved when entering.

Try and not obsess about what you're trying to win and being the Contest Winner. We know it is hard not to keep your eye on the prize. Figure out plan, and simply enter the ones you want to. When you are done, move on to the next one. Some of the fun of winning is winning a sweepstakes you completely forgot that you entered. The odds will always be against you to be a Contest Winner.
