Scrapbook Idea #1 - Make sure you set one of your photo's as the main focus.
Its kind of like the “Shinning Star” at the top of a Christmas Tree. Your other photos act as the "lights and garland" that support your story you are telling. As we commonly read from left to right, the top-left hand corner is an good place for your main photo. When you have several photos you want o have with your collage finding that special area for your main photo is key. Unless of course you do not want to one photo as your main focal point rather the entire collage itself is.
Scrapbook Idea #2 - If you happen to run out of adhesive dots to hold down your ribbon to the page, you can tack down the ribbons using brads at each end.

... Idea #3 - How to spread liquid adhesive quickly over a large surface area? Instead of dumping those phony plastic credit cards you received in mail, save them. Save your used phone cards too. Then you can simply use these wasted plastic cards as glue-spreaders! Use the plastic card to swipe and spread the liquid glue into a thin, even layer of glue over a big surface area. What's more? You can just wipe the card clean and reuse them again and again.
Scrapbook Idea #4 - If you want an eye-catching background, try cutting a piece of patterned paper into a large curved shape and then attach it to your card-stock. It will immediately give attention to your background. Drawing the curved shape can be done by free hand or a bowel works well.
Scrapbook Idea #5 - Punches also make for great visuals and presentation. Punch out using card-stocks and add those accents to your pages to help you create an interesting background design.
Scrapbook Idea #6 - Everyone seems to think you have to mat all your photo's on your scrapbook layout design unless you want it to stand out from the background. It's a good idea to mat your photo though. Enlarging its size for emphasis works too.
Scrapbook Idea #7 - If you are someone who loves the stitched-look but can't sew and looking for an easy way out? Try using rub-on stitches they work great. You can also use a fine-tip pen and draw the dashes to resemble the stitched-look without using needle and thread. It might not be perfect but it save you a lot of time.
Scrapbook Idea #8 Try adding on already made envelope to your layout to store in the extra writings. Make sure you give the envelope a unique look by customizing it to your own design. You can also use a library pocket to tuck in your extra writings too.
Scrapbook Idea #9 For quick page accents cut out designs from patterned papers. Just apply the cut accents to your page and you're done. It will also you save you money as well.
Scrapbook Idea #10 The days of throwing away your soda tabs are now done. Save them and use them as "buckles" on your ribbons. You can even sand the rough edge down a bit and paint on them to match the color of your ribbon.
Scrapbook Idea #11 - Besides using brads, you can you can add a button to the center of a flower. If you're using buttons you can also tie a knot with embroidery floss. Then add an adhesive dot to the back of the button to apply it to your layout.
Scrapbook Idea #12 For another background idea try cutting out tall triangles from some patterned paper. Add ink to the edges of the cut triangles to add emphasis. Then apply these triangles to your card-stock and you got an edgy-looking background.
Scrapbook Idea #13 Do you want to create a unique handwritten title? Hand-write and make sure you put a wide enough space between each letter. Cut out each handwritten letter and mat it on a card-stock. You will be amazed by how your handwritten title will look like a unique font you just created.
