There are some three categories of people who normally procure airsoft rifles. The airsoft rifles in question here are meant to be used in a fun-filled undertaking referred to as ‘airsoft’ which is basically a (safe) real-life battlefield combat situation simulation. The first category of people who normally procure airsoft rifles is that of individuals who have airsoft as one of their hobbies. Having taken up airsoft as a hobby, the next step is normally that of buying the necessary gear – and it is at this stage that the people in question come to realize that they actually need to consider buying their own airsoft guns. The guns are, after all, not so expensive: yet having them frees one from the inconveniences of having to rely on other people’s guns (or having to hire the guns perpetually, which, in the long run, can end up being much more costly).

The second category of people who normally procure airsoft rifles is that of the folks who operate the parks where airsoft is offered as a recreational activity. These people realize that not all people coming to their parks will have their own guns. That is especially the case for people who are new to airsoft: those being people who normally have to take part in this particular activity for quite sometime, before they can see the need to have their own guns. So what the park operators do is basically buy the guns with the objective of hiring them out to people who are yet to buy their own.

The third category of people who normally procure airsoft rifles is that of the folks who manage the police training academies where airsoft is used to teach things like marksmanship. These people buy the rifles as part of their training equipment. The trainees who are able to master the use of the airsoft guns are then taken to the next phase of training, and ultimately to the phase where they can work with real guns and real ammunition (in safely secured shooting training ranges).
