The island nation of Antigua and Barbuda is located on the eastern boundary of the Caribbean Sea. Antigua's gastronomic specialty is lobster, among other fish-running delicacies. Just so you know, larger hotels offer a wide selection of imported meats, vegetables, fruits and cheese. There are various bars and restaurants that offer a fusion of international and authentic Caribbean cuisine.
Most of the nightlife is centered in St John's, hotels and casinos around the island offer in-house entertainment for both hotel guests and non-residents. Casinos offer much more than just gambling; there's live music, and there are gyms and internet access in some. For those who like to dance the night away, there are a few nightclubs/discos. One of the best spots on the island for locals and tourists alike is at Shirley Heights, there's live music, drinks and incredible sunsets.
