There are many 250 word articles that has more quality content than 700 word articles out there. But you have to keep your prospects in mind, and hopefully get them to view your content as something that they would like to see over and over again.
Article marketing is tough. Many people do it, and many people choose not to do it. Some like outsourcing the work, and some people feel like it's a waste of time. I don't think it's a waste of time though, because submitting articles to the article directories and on your blog and website are still viable means to get more new traffic to your website.
