Article marketing can be a great way to get more new traffic, leads, and sales for your online business. To make it truly effective, you have to keep marketing each and everyday with your articles. However lately, a lot of marketers' article marketing efforts have been diluted. The more articles you write, the more traffic you will get from the search engines, and the more sales you will make. Very simple stuff.
So your goal should be to create an article marketing strategy that will allow you to extract maximum amount of value throughout the lifetime of the article. You will have to remain consistent with your efforts though if you want to remain effective with your article writing efforts.
If you don't know how to create a website, you can either outsource this part of your plan to someone else, or simply use a blog. Two major blog providers online are "Blogger" and "WordPress". Both of them are relatively easy to make. All you have to do is make a blog post everyday, make sure your blog gets pinged after each blog post, and then do simple marketing on behalf of your blog.
So when it comes down to writing your articles, you have some things you have to think about. You also have to consider the search engine marketing side of things. You will want to find keywords related to your blog that you can write about and try to get this group of targeted visitors.
One thing that you don't want to do is to spam your keyword phrase all throughout your article. People hate this, and so does the search engines. Keep your keyword density at around 2 to 3 percent. This is a good measure to go by, and is enough for readers to understand, and is enough for the search engines also.
Article marketing isn't hard and article writing is something that you can accomplish in a very short period of time. If you can set aside 20 minutes per day to write up a nice 500 word article, you're doing the right thing. Repurpose your article and also promote them on social marketing sites also. This will get you more traffic too.
