A remote control is a component of an electronic tool, most commonly used for industrial segment. This is mainly used for operating huge machines wirelessly from a short line of sight distance. Now the remote control can be contracted to other devices too. This is also know by many others names as well such as converter clicker, flipper, the button. Commonly remote controls are consumer IR devices used to issue commands from a distance to gigantic machine or other consumer electronics.

Currently, bulk plant wireless emergency shutdown systems are really significant in industrial sector. These are manufactured to eliminate costly hard wiring of fixed location emergency stop switches. So any number of wireless remote E-stop industrial remote control switch can be installed within the plant facility and communicate with one receiver and controller component. This wireless hydraulic remote control will work in conjunction with accessible hard wired, manual E-stop switches and plant safety controls. So the operator worn E-stop remotes and also be added to these systems.

E-Stop shut down system transmitter specification:

This ...
... is low powered and intrinsically safe devices suitable for use in hazardous environments. The all systems are CSA, CE, and FCC approved. At the same time, the pressing the Emergency Stop button causes the receiver/controller unit to trigger a plant shut-down.

The system cannot be rebooted until the E-Stop button is pulled out and a manual receiver/controller reset is performed. E-Stop buttons are dual contact with dual channel and comply with global E-Stop switch requirements. The systems will fail safe, triggering an automatic E-Stop with any loss of main line electrical power supply to the receiver/controller unit

This E-Stop Receiver and Controller specifications:

This is easily interfaced with electrical, pneumatic, nitrogen, or mechanical plant shut-off equipment. The systems will operate with 12/24VDC or 120/240VAC power supplies. All receiver and controller outputs can specified as 12/24VdC, 120/240VAC, dry contact, RS232, or J1939 CAN bus.

The standard receiver/controller units are NOT rated explosion proof and are typically installed in non hazardous electrical control equipment areas. Receiver/controller units are provided with antenna and coax cable for outside antenna mounting providing maximum operating range. Explosion-proof electrical enclosures are available on request.

There are some bulk plant systems which are well liked in industrial sector. These are;

MODEL ASKFAX200-AC

The fixed-frequency remote E-Stop switch operates at 433MHz using two double batteries. Not only that the transmitter is energized only when E-Stop switch is activated. Battery test button shows a “low battery” flashing LED on the E-Stop switch as well as on the receiver/controller component. The operation system or range is up to 1000ft.

Now the E-Stop transmitter battery tests and scheduled battery replacement intervals are powerfully optional. The E-Stop transmitters and receiver/controller shut-down will NOT operate when the remote E-Stop transmitter batteries are exhausted.

MODEL DSSF 100-AC

BASE Engineering designs excellent Wireless hydraulic remote control technology for different engineering and commercial purposes. Since 1996 over 50,000 BASE systems have been employed around the globe to increase job safety and productivity. As a result of this design effort we have the confidence to offer a four year, no hassle, and replacement warranty on every industrial remote control switch we manufacture.
