The Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Sikri, Sikandara, Fatehpur etc are the noteworthy tourist spots. The Taj is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, and one of the most visited tourist places in India. The third city to complete the triangle, Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan in India, is a picturesque city called the Pink City. It was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1727. The first planned city of India, it has world renowned palaces, attractive monuments and marvelous heritage hotels which once upon a time used to be the residences of Maharajas. The Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, Nahargarh Fort, City Palace and Jaigarh Fort are some of the beautiful tourist places everyone likes to visit and have a glimpse of the architectural excellence and exquisite beauty of the historical buildings.
