Immigration And Its Effect On Society And People

As it is known that every coin has two sides and similarly everything in this world has also two sides - one positive another negative. Here in the case of immigration also this same thing applies. It has both positive impact on the society and also some negative impact.
Let us discuss the Advantages first:
When a person emigrates from one country to other he tries to do his work more efficiently and hence does miracle which the residents of that country cannot do. This benefits the recipient country.
Migrants generally work for long hours with less salary in order to stay back in that country.
Immigrants contribute to the diversity of a society where they accommodate and that increases brotherhood, understanding and tolerance.
If the immigrants are well educated in their original country then they help the host country by spreading their talent and hence increasing the host country’s economy.
Now comes the negative part of the whole immigration picture:
Generally it is seen the immigrants work a lot but get very few salary that can be considered as exploitation.
...
... Developing countries provide quality education with limited resources to their students who in turn go to the developed countries and work for them that hamper the economical structure of the developing country; this is called Brain-drain.
Immigration also gives rise to criminal activities like drug trafficking and involving people in different illegal activities forcefully.
The most negative aspect of immigration is Racism that hurts the feelings of the people and creates worldwide a political and social issue.
When more attention is given to the immigrants and the refugees than that of the poor people residing in that country a rift is created between the government and the public that also hampers the life of the immigrants.
And because of some illegal immigrants other legally residing immigrants who work hard to add to the nation’s economy get blamed which affects all the public, the immigrants and also the government.
In the United States the illegal immigrants are found the most in California due to its size and also because of its propinquity to Mexico which has the highest number of immigrants in California. And because of these illegal immigrants most legally residing immigrants too suffer a lot.
This Immigration has caused many problems in the US too. The major one is discrimination. As there are many illegally residing immigrants are there in Mexico, most of the people in America think that all those who come from Mexico are illegal but that is not at all true. Frequently the Mexican-Americans are pulled over by police while driving because of their facade and that the police are trying to track down people that are in this country illegally.
Another sensitive issue of discrimination came after the 11th September attacks that destroyed a lot in the US and hence after that all the Muslims residing there are facing problems as they are regarded as the relatives of the culprits which is again not the truth.
What problem most of the Immigration Attorneys in California is facing is the thing that many families are torn apart in the name of immigration laws. For example, if a child has taken birth there he is considered to be the resident of that country and if their parents came illegally then they are deported which makes the child away from his parents. And the Immigration Attorneys here need to help them in such a way that the families not get torn apart which is the most difficult task for them.
