When using HSS saw blade, you have to pay more attention on the saw blade working condition, and if there are some abnormal condition, you should stop working in time and find the reasons and then take useful solution.

In this article, I will introduce some common problems during HSS saw blade working process, and analyze the reasons of such abnormal condition and finally give some useful solution, are you interested? Follow me to read article below.

Firstly, abnormal working sounds when cutting and sawing

Reasons for such abnormal working sounds always include that the saw teeth are not sharp any more or there are broken saw teeth on saw blade, or the cutting material is not clamped tightly, or there is some cutting dust adhered on saw teeth.

Based on these reasons, you should take these ways to solve such problem. For example, you can grind saw blade again with right gear grinding machine, and then check whether the cutting material is not clamped tightly, if not, please clamp it tightly and then cut again. If you notice there are some cutting dust, you should stop cutting and clean these dust completely. ...
... By the way, you have to check whether the number of saw teeth is suitable for such material cutting.

Secondly, saw blade is fractured during working process

Reasons for such problem mainly include that the saw blade of saw machines is locked tightly but the ring flange is not locked tightly. The saw blade is too blunt and when cutting and sawing, the load is too large so that saw blade would be broken. The saw teeth shape is not right for such material cutting or the number of saw teeth is not suitable, as is known to all, the different saw teeth shape or different saw teeth quantity should be used to cut different materials. Cutting feed speed is too fast. When beginning to cut, the cutting material is too sharp, or too thin or the material is too hard. Finally the saw blade revolving speed is too fast.

Similarly, based on these reasons, here are some solutions you can take a try. For example, clamp the screw on flange plate tightly, grind the saw blade again with right gear grinding machine. When cutting different materials, you should choose saw blade with right saw teeth shape and quantity, it is not right to choose all the materials with the same saw blade. Adjust cutting feed speed so that it is not too fast.
