Who said that you need to be a professional to create innovative gifts and/or gift packaging?

The recipe for creating something unique is:

A box full of materials
Glue gun & sticks
Scissors
Paper cutter
Cello tape
White double sided tape
Yellow double sided tape

AND…

Our secret ingredient….

A spoonful of creativity

Here are a few ideas to give you a jump start at creating some innovative gifts and gift packaging.

Animal Theme:

Animal Themes are very popular for baby showers & announcements and children birthdays.

Themes using Animals

Jungle
Pond
Garden
Farm

Baby motifs made of fabric or foam can be used to create special pencils and pens or even to decorate chocolates. They can be used as gifts, party favours and/or return gifts.
Turn the motif upside down and using a glue gun paste the end of a pencil or pen on the back of the motif.

Use yellow or white double sided tape to secure chocolates with these motifs. These chocolates can be creatively placed on the platter ...
... to create a jungle theme.

Wooden motifs can be used to decorate chocolates, sweets and even Indian mithai and even pen and book stands. These should be preferably pasted using a glue gun but in case of chocolates or sweets using white and/or yellow double sided tape as both tapes are temporary adhesives and will not spoil the eatables.

Chocolate Bouquets

Another interesting gifting idea for baby announcements, showers and birthdays is chocolate and candy bouquets. Though these bouquets can be created using glass or plastic vases as a base, using baby themed ceramic containers.
Put in a thick layer of thermocol as a base inside the container before fitting in lollipops and candies to create your bouquet.

CREATE A SMALL GARDEN FOR YOUR CHILD IN HER OWN ROOM!!!

Gift your child a small garden in her very own room.

Use one window of your child’s room to create a small corner where he can dream up a whole new world of friends and fantasies.

Using fences made of wood, foam or felt create a border. Use foam or felt flowers to decorate the area and fill in the space using animal & bird figures.

Your child can play in this make shift garden or can just sit and day dream.

If the room does not have a window, then the same garden can be created using a wooden or MDF base.
