9. Satin - Satin is a cloth that has a shiny front and a dull back. Satin refers to the fabric which is woven using nylon, silk, and polyester. On the other hand, sateen refers to those which are made using cotton.

10. Silk - Naturally produced by silkworms, the Chinese were the first to discover the excellent quality of this fabric.

These are just a few types of curtain fabrics. There are generally three types of fabrics: natural, synthetic, and a combination of these two types. Depending on your taste and style, you will not have a shortage of patterns and designs to choose from.
