In the 19th century, this castle was reconstructed following the construction of Laval Nugents mausoleum inside it. Aljmas

Aljmas is one of the most famous and frequently visited shrines in Croatia. It is located on the banks of River Danube in the eastern side of Croatia. During the Croatian War, the shrine was completely destroyed. This dates back to the year 1991 when there was war for independence. By 2006, the church was completely rebuilt. During the period of Assumption of Mary every 15th of August, the church receives its peak number of tourists. You can actually visit the place any time of the year but you could consider going there during the important August event.

The other fascinating places to visit are the churches at Dubronvic. The great St. Blasius Church which was named after the city's patron is a great place to be. You will get the best ancient view when you visit this cathedral. St. Ignatius church is yet another fascinating shrine to visit. It has a great architectural design with a very big cross on top. Other churches to visit are the Orthodox and St. Saviour's church where you will get the beautiful ancient designs and precious pieces of artwork.
