And it becomes even more difficult to sell a home fast in such a slow housing market and getting a good price. Ask your real estate agent to research other similar homes as yours in the area that have been sold in the former three months and set the price of your home appropriately. • Make sure that the inside of your house does not appear personal: Get rid of any personal items like portraits and photos. Buyers want to visualize a home with their own items in it and not yours. If you have hired a professional stager, then he or she would have given all the advice about the inside of your house.
