Interesting Facts And Achievements About Joydeep
Joydeep Karmakar is a famous Indian shooter. He qualified for the finals of Men's 50m Rifle prone event scored with 595 points and represented India at Olympics 2012 season. In the finals Joydeep scored 104.1 points with a total of 699. He competed 8 shooters. He was very happy when he got the most prestigious Arjuna award from the Indian Government. During 2010 World Cup he won the silver medal. He started his shooting since in the year 1989. He achieved junior record holder when he was at the age of 14, he won the bronze medal in Senior Open sight rifle. His great achievement Silver at ISSF World Cup Sydney 2010, he got highest score 702.4. In 2010, World Cup Munich event he placed at 8th rank and scored 596 runs. During World Cup Munich 2011 game he got 35th rank and scored 595 points. He has full confidence to win the next event Olympic Games at Rio 2016.
