Jacques Henry Kallis is a right handed batsman and right arm fast-medium swing bowler. Jacques is a South African Cricketer. He played for South Africa, Western Province , Africa XI, Cape Cobras, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Glamorgan, ICC World XI, Kolkata Knight Riders, Middlesex and Warriors. He got selected two times as an ICC Test player of the year in 2005 and 2007. From 1998 to 2002 he was one of the most world's leading all rounder cricketers. During ICC Champions Trophy 1998 he won the title 'Man of the Match' and 'Player of the Series'. He is one of the four players in test history made century in five continuous matches. Kallis has a wonderful batting average in the mid-50s and called him as a best batsman in the world. Kallis is the only batsman to score over 10,000 runs and to take over 280 wickets in Test cricket matches. In 2005 he was awarded the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for the ICC player of the year. During 2007 World Cup Jacques was South Africa's leading run-scorer with 485 runs at the average rate of 80.83 points.
