Julian Wilde Brings A Little Cassanova To The Alenver Underwear Photo Shoot

In a new fashion partnership, Alenver Underwear received a Casanova-inspired look from American fashion photographer Julian Wilde who is well known for his lush, artistic, and cinematic style. Wilde's sense of elegant beauty, seduction and eroticism is a perfect fit for the new Alenver line of intimate apparel. Just as Casanova was the height of style and sensuality for historic Venice, Alenver is the new, above-the-belt look and a perfect fit for modern men and women of style.

For this international advertising launch for Alenver, Wilde drew on his creative experience to present the collection. Including six of his favorite lingerie models wearing the Alenver lace bra and panties sets with the white divine, red love and black bitch messaged waistbands, Wilde brought theatrical make-up artist Junis from Los Angeles to create their gloriously decadent look with white elaborate bejeweled wigs, powdered faces and accentuated features. His styling partner Raven Wilde, dressed the lingerie models with long sensuous gloves, thigh high stockings and extravagant jewels and also dressed the luscious set of their Italian Renaissance ...
... ballroom and studio with silks, brocades and animals prints softening the edges of the mirrored and gilt styled surrounds. Amidst these details Wilde choreographed the Cassanova set to create the surreal and dramatic result that is very Alenver and very Wilde.

Wilde has been photographing international advertising campaigns and high end fashion, in addition to exhibiting his own work in galleries for over 15 years. Living and working in Portland, Wilde combines his creative gift for photography with his penchant for hosting large scale private parties - both of which create a fantasy so dramatic, that onlookers are captivated by the timeless allure of the images. In viewing Wilde's collections: Night in Venice, Entourage, Wilde Journey and Wilde Beauty, one can see that this is true. For example, in Wilde Journey, he describes this collection on his website (www.wildevision.com) as timeless, pan ethnic and not defined by any one style of dress or form of spirituality. He hints at Asian, Middle Eastern, and Celtic images, yet does not solely reflect these in this collection. Certainly the musical selections that accompany his stunning visual images help to transport the viewer to a time long since past or simultaneously far into the future.

Wilde's passion for his work is more than just a vocation. As he says: I would go so far as to say that this work is my calling. It is what I do regardless of the circumstances in which I am living. It is what I think about independent of whatsoever is going on in my life. And it is what I would strive to do, even if the means to do this were not available to me. Those thoughts are the thoughts of an individual completely enamored with his craft. Bill Morrissey, fellow photographer concurs: There are Photographers and there are Artists. Julian Wilde is unquestionably the best of both.

Pairing Julian Wilde with Alenver Inc for this lingerie shoot was a plus for both. "What was fun for me," says Julian, "was pairing the historical drama of 17th Century Venice, against the modern, up-to-the-second kind of styling that Alenver represents. Alenver's collection, new to the fashion industry in 2008 is building on an already successful first year. Alenver's design taps into the street fashion inspiration of the low-rise waist trend and consequently has drawn great interest from those interested in a new street couture. One of Alenver's principals, Patrice Hallot, has just returned from Peru where he was coordinating the production of new items for the collection. Alenver knows that a successful line of clothing, though maintaining its signature style, must always be evolving with new ideas, styles, and colors to continue to meet the ever changing needs of its wearers. Currently, Alenver's jewel-like collection of colors includes: purple, dark brown, khaki, pink and fuscia, in addition to the classic back and white. Additionally, contrasting waistbands of color with gold and silver messages and newly added white metallic, red metallic and dark grey metallic waistbands, provide the variety that wearers desire for their boxers and briefs. The lace collection has also expanded its color selection for the new season to include red and white.

Alenver's secret reversed messages have new additions for both the men's and women's collections. Alenver has added no fear and respect to the waistbands of the men's collection. To its women's collection Alenver has added divine and love messages. The new reverse messaged waistbands of Alenver Inc's men's and women's collections have a level of intrigue, humor and sex appeal combined with jewel like colors that cannot help but get people to stop and decode the reversed messages. The underwear acts as an accessory with the colors and metallics peeping out from jeans waistbands. As each one-word message is spoken out loud, specific images, feelings and emotions are generated. With this reversed message, apparent in the mirror, it is clear that the mood of the wearer is the priority and they deserve the time and attention that selecting underwear allows.

The Wilde Cassanova photo shoot for Alenver was a resounding success for both entities.
