Google's Android Or Apple's Ios: Which Is A Better Option?
Android and iOS are the two most powerful mobile operating systems, marking their presence in the global market and users. Both of them are very powerful and quiet famous. But have you ever thought which one is a better option? Well if you haven't then here in the article some points have been marked that will make you think about it.
Ease of use: Apple has worked a lot on the design of the interface, starting from the appearance to its ease of use. It enables the user, to search anything on the screen of an iOS device, and doesn't let him get lost in the ocean of menus and options. Furthermore, there are fewer ways to mess up an iOS device, as compared to the Android devices. With Android, it is possible to have the apps configured incorrectly, so they may not be able to perform the way they were supposed to.
Applications: Android is an open source platform, so anyone can go for Android development and even sell its apps without certification from Google. It gives the audience the freedom to explore the platform. With iOS, if you have developed an app, then you have to get it certified from Apple which deprives ...
... the user of the freedom. Again to get Android apps, the users have the option of Google Play along with other websites as well. However the iOS apps are restricted only to its official application providers.
Touch Panel: Most of the mobile phones manufactured these days are fully touch enabled, so the mobile user look for better response from the touch screen panel of the devices. They seek for more responsive touch experience along with a solution for misplaced touch. The apple devices have the most gorgeous touch panel among all smartphones. The capacitive touch gives it an even smoother effect as you slide a finger to fiddle around the menu. As the software and hardware both come from Apple, they are smoothly integrated and give the device an amazing speed and stability.
Customization: Just like any other Apple product in the market, the iOS is a closed system. That is, the iOS users have very less control over the customization of their device, unless they choose options like jailbreaking and unlocking, which ultimately voids the warranty. Again, speaking of unlocking, biggest problem with the iOS devices is that the user is stuck with just one carrier. Many users have tried unlocking their iPhone only to find out that their files are deleted each time they plug it in a PC. However, with android the user gets full freedom to customize the device or choose the carrier.
This comparison of the mobile platforms is not essentially intended to figure out which OS is better. It is just a reference for users and Mobile developers who want to choose one of these. So, it is better to leave the decision on the user itself, as per his personal requirements.
