Vitamins like C, E and beta-carotene can also perform as antioxidants, neutralizing free radicals and reducing oxidative stress in body. In fact, intake of Vitamin C boosts the levels of Glutathione (GSH), powerful antioxidant, detoxifier and immune booster produced by body on its own.
