There was once a time when we only had five TV channels to choose from, and if there was nothing interesting on TV, we'd have to occupy ourselves some other way. However, this is another problems which can easily be solved thanks to modern day technology. There are ways of having your TV service available in different rooms in your home, so that everyone can watch what they want. An example of this is Sky Multiroom. This allows you to purchase additional, smaller boxes which can be placed in other rooms of your home to connect different TVs to your Sky service, so if two programmes are on at the same time, they can be watched in separate rooms, so no more arguments over the TV.
